Hello, this is us
Edyta and Bartek.
We live in Ireland. We travel by camper, test equipment and share real life on the road - including the things that go wrong.
How did Opitkowanie begin?
The channel grew from curiosity and a desire to share experience. Our camper is transport, a small home and a workshop in one. Every trip brings a new route, a new idea and questions about making things simpler, safer or better.
We publish two main types of films. The first follows travels in Ireland and Europe: places, walks, cooking and everyday life. The second covers practical technology: LiFePO4 batteries, portable power stations, solar systems, camper equipment, bicycles, scooters and filming gear.
How do we test?
We look beyond specifications. We unbox, configure and use equipment in the camper, checking what matters in daily use. Where safe, we also inspect the internals. We show drawbacks, errors, unsuccessful attempts and repairs.
We identify equipment supplied by manufacturers. Such arrangements do not give a company the right to approve our opinion. Affiliate links may earn us a commission, but do not determine our verdict. Check the seller's current price and terms before buying.
Why this website?
Video captures a process and its atmosphere, but a single measurement or checklist can be hard to find again. Opit.me complements the channel with longer guides, updates after months of use and organised materials you can find without scrolling through an entire recording.
